A word about comments

First and foremost, we ask that you exercise common sense when posting a comment.  Try to stay civil, on topic, and insightful.  We encourage discussion of all constructive kinds, but personal attacks or hateful views will not be tolerated.

The real reason for this page, however, is to inform you that we have not made a decision on the migration of comments from this temporary blog to the final web site.  As such, we recommend that you treat your comments as though they will only appear on this blog, not on the finished LapeerDems.org.  We are, however, evaluating options for migrating everything, comments inclusive, to the finished site.

In any event, do keep in mind that you will have to create an account on this blog to post comments and that you will have to again create an account on LapeerDems.org once it launces.  If we are able to find a suitable solution, you may be able to “claim” your blog comments with your new account at that time.
